BIOGRAPHY: 1881 Census:

I am almost certain that the entry for Francis Sladen, dealer and salesman, only visitor in the 'Butcher's Arms' on the corner of York Road and Brewery Road in Islington is Francis Steeden. A couple of doors down York Road, no fewer than eleven cattle dealers and farmers were staying at 'The Black Bull' (whose address is give as 'Cattle Market') including J. Wilson, a farmer from Buckingham.
