Joseph was born about NOV 1842 in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, the son of John Burrows and Hannah Smith.[Note 1]

He died about AUG 1930 in Buckingham registration district, Buckinghamshire.[Notes 2, 3]

He had four marriages/partners. His first wife was Ellen un, whom he married in BEF 1871. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Ellen (c1871-?) and Joseph (c1872-?).

His second wife was un, whom he married in BEF 1882. The place has not been found. Their only known child was William (c1881-?).

His third wife was Ann un, whom he married in ABT 1892. The place has not been found. Their only known child was John (c1893-?).

His fourth wife was Jemima Nurden, whom he married in ABT MAY 1925 in Buckingham registration district, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.
