Fanny was born before 10 JUL 1836 in Gawcott, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of Thomas Benbow and Hannah Terry.[Note 1]
She died about 1893 in Stepney, London.[Note 2]
Her husband was [Mr] Carpenter, whom she married in ABT 1860. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Henry A (c1865->1881), Louisa F (c1868->1891), Frederick (c1870->1891), Charles (c1873->1881) and Alfred (c1875->1881).

I have a record of a Fanny Carpenter's death inStepney in 1893 at the age of 56 - I am assuming thatthis is the same person although I am yet to confirmthis.

In the 1891 census, Fanny is still living at the sameaddress, a widow by this time. Her daughter Fanny andson, Frederick are living with her along with FannyLovell, her niece from Gawcott (my gt gt aunt).
