Seraphine was born about 1841 in Chetwode, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of unknown parents.[Note 1]

Her husband was Josiah Jeffery Jones, whom she married in ABT NOV 1882 in Buckingham registration district, Buckinghamshire. Their only known child was Edith L.M. (c1885-?).
