Personal and Family Information

Richard was born before 28 DEC 1817 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Richard Butcher and Frances Nelson.[Note 1]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Keziah Miller, whom he married on 24 OCT 1844 in Water Stratford, Buckinghamshire. Their five known children were Richard (c1846->1861), Frances Ann (c1848->1851), Phillip Henry (c1849->1851), Frederick John (c1850-?) and Elizabeth Anne (1852-?).

His second wife was (Hester) Ann Clark, whom he married on 25 APR 1852 in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Their five known children were Arthur (1853-?), Henry Authin? (c1855->1861), John Clarke (1857->1861), George Nelson (1859-?) and Elizabeth Ann (1862-?).
