His wife was Mary Line, whom he married on 15 FEB 1801 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their eight known children were William (c1802-<1887), John (<1803-<1879), Martin (<1805-?), Elizabeth (<1807-1874), James (<1809-1875), Rachel (<1812-<1816), Rachel (<1816-1864) and Solomon (<1819-?).
