Personal and Family Information

Thomas was born in 1799 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of George Clifford or Clifton and Mary Pool.[Note 2]

He died on 13 MAR 1874 in Finmere, Oxfordshire.[Notes 3, 4, 5, 6]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Mary Kirby, whom he married on 17 DEC 1821 in Finmere, Oxfordshire. Their only known child was Anne (1824-1824).

His second wife was Ann Tapping, whom he married on 26 OCT 1826 in Finmere, Oxfordshire. Their six known children were Sarah (1827-?), George (1830-1889), Mary (1833-1834), Martha (1835-?), Ann (1837-1888) and Elizabeth (1842-?).
