Personal and Family Information

Daniel was born before 5 JAN 1787 in Finmere, Oxfordshire, the son of Thomas Coles and Susannah Elizabeth Stopp.[Note 1]

He died in MAR 1869. The place is not known.[Note 2]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Frances Heritage, whom he married on 23 DEC 1811 in Finmere, Oxfordshire. Their three known children were Sarah (<1819-?), Elizabeth (c1821-<1821) and Urias (<1822-<1822).

His second wife was Elizabeth Gibbard, whom he married on 31 DEC 1823 in Padbury, Buckinghamshire. Their eight known children were John (<1825-?), Thomas (<1827-<1911), Eliza (<1829->1841), Fanny (1832-?), Catherine (1835-<1861), Matilda (1837->1863), George Albert (<1840-?) and David Gibbard (<1845-?).
