Charles was born about 1792 in Finmere, Oxfordshire, the son of Christopher Collingridge and Elizabeth un.[Note 2]

He died before 27 SEP 1858. The place is not known.[Note 3]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rebecca Jackson?, whom he married in BEF 1819. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Mary (<1819-<1821), Elizabeth (<1819-?) and James (<1821-<1821).

His second wife was Mary Tompkins, whom he married on 5 JUN 1828 in Barton Hartshorn, Buckinghamshire. Their eight known children were Harriet (<1828-?), Charles (1830-c1897), James (1832-?), John (1836-1903), Henry (1839-1934), Maryann (1843-1844), [Mr] (<1848-?) and Ellen (<1847-<1871).
