He died in 1845 in Manchester.

His wife was Sarah Hulme, who he married on 01 AUG 1812 in Manchester, Lancashire. Their six known children were Elizabeth (1816-?), Sarah (1818-?), Hannah (<1821-?), John (<1823-1917), Tabbitha (<1826-?) and Isaac (1829-c1892).
