He died about 2 JAN 1881 in Jackson Township, Tioga County, Pa.[Notes 3, 4, 5]

His wife was Mary Easter, whom he married on 4 NOV 1816 in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire. Their four known children were Elizabeth (?-c1910), Martha (<1817-1900), Hannah (1829-1859) and William Thomas (1835-?).
