He died in 1951 in Harbury, Warwickshire.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Alice Tredwell, who he married in 1905 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.

His second wife was [Ruth] Miriam Wells, who he married in AFT 1918. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
