Thomas was born about 1795 in Charlton, Northamptonshire, the son of unknown parents.[Note 1]

He died before 29 FEB 1872. The place is not known.[Note 2]

His wife was Jane Gray, whom he married on 11 OCT 1824 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their only known child was Catharine (<1825-<1860).

On Saturday the 3d of November, 1827, at Four o'clock, at the Cobham Arms Inn, Buckingham, in the following or such other lots as may be agreed upon at the time of sale (unless an acceptable offer be in the mean time made by private contract, of which due notice will be given):--

Lot 1 -- Four Inclosures of superior ARABLE LAND, opening on the turnpike road, one mile from Tingewick, and bounded on the opposite side by the River Ouse, with a Barn, Yard, Hovel, &c. and containing 24 Acres, or thereabouts.

Lot 2 -- Two Inclosures of ARABLE LAND, adjoining the above, of good qulaity, containing 24 acres, or thereabouts.

Lot 3 -- A MESSUAGE (formerly the Farm House), Barn, Stable, Hovel, &c. large Garden, Paddock, and CLOSE of good PASTURE LAND adjoining, situate in the village of Tingewick, containing about 6 Acres.

Lot 4 -- All that substantial, old-established, and well-accustomed PUBLIC HOUSE The Crown, situate adjoining the high road, in the populous village of Tingewick, with excellent cellar, brew-house, good stabling, hovels, piggery, &c. and a CLOSE of excellent PASTURE LAND adjoining, containing together about 3 Acres, in the occupation of Mr W. Farren, a yearly tenant.

Lot 5 -- Two roomy and substantial TENEMENTS with Stable, Hovels and good Gardens, in Tingewick, in the occupation of Mr. T. Cave and ---- Side, as yearly tenants; with a CLOSE of rich PASTURE LAND adjoining, containing together upwards of 2 Acres.

Lots 1,3 and 4 are Copyhold of the Manor of Tingewick; and lots 2 and 5 are Freehold. -- Lots 1, 2, and 3 are in hand, and immediate possession with be given.
