Thomas was born before 28 OCT 1827 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Thomas Brewerton and Mary Pain.[Note 2]

He died in 1909 in West Ham, Essex.

His wife was Mary Ann Loveday, whom he married in ABT AUG 1852 in St. Luke registration district, Middlesex. Their three known children were Lucy (1854-?), Thomas (1860-?) and William Walter (c1863-?).
