my research shows their first born as Frederick. He was born in nearby Twyford in 1852 wheras George and all the other children were born in Stratton Audley

....

My research showed that their first born was Frederick John Clarke born in 1851. I now have confirmation of this, his birth certificate shows he was born to George and Elizabeth Clarke ( maiden name Hadland ) on 22 July 1851 in Twyford
