John was born before 19 NOV 1769, the son of William Pritchett and Mary Waddup. The place is not known.[Note 1]

He died on 3 JUL 1841 in Worton, Oxfordshire.[Note 2]

His wife was Sarah Wakefield, whom he married in ABT 1796 in Cassington, Oxfordshire. Their four known children were Mary (<1779-?), Hannah (<1797-<1883), Sarah (<1801-<1872) and Jane (c1806->1806).

1. Hannah had four sisters and no brothers.

2. Hannah was the eldest born abt 1797, then Mary abt 1799, Sarah abt

1801 and Jean abt 1806 who died later that year.

3. Hannah's parents were John PRITCHETT and Sara WAKEFIELD (of

Chesterton) who were married abt 1796 in Cassington. Sarah died 21 Jan 1838

aged 73 at Worton. John died 3 Jul 1841 aged 73 at Worton.

4. John was listed in the Worton 1841 census aged 70 so his actual age is

of debate here.
