Personal and Family Information

William was born about 1817 in Mixbury, Oxfordshire, the son of Joseph Meads but his mother is unknown.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Ann Key, whom he married in 1837. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Emma (1837-<1841).

His second wife was Catharine Moreton, whom he married on 14 OCT 1843 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their five known children were George (<1846-<1849), un (<1849-?), Hannah (<1849-?), Jane (<1851-?) and Richard (c1853->1881).
