Henry was born on 26 JUN 1839 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Charles Collingridge and Mary Tompkins.[Note 2]

He died on 1 APR 1934 in Steyning, Essex.[Notes 3, 4]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Eliza Hitchcock, whom he married on 18 MAR 1861 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their three known children were Henry John (<1862-?), John (c1867->1881) and William Henry (c1868->1881).

His second wife was Ellen Hall, whom he married in ABT NOV 1876 in St. Giles, London. Their four known children were A.S. (c1878->1881), Ernest Edward (c1879-?), Bramwell Frank (c1882-?) and Lily (c1890-?).
