Notes

Note 1

Note: Reve on christening record

Is this Elizabeth JAKEMAN recorded in St Laurence, Winslow, Bucks Parish Register?:

Burial: 28 March 1788 "died of the smallpox".

Elizabeth provides the link between William JAKEMAN and Hemmings JACKMAN:

Elizabeth JAKEMAN of Tingewick, Bucks made some official, recorded statements that appear to have laid claim to the estate of her sister Mary BIGG of Winslow, Bucks. Both Elizabeth and Mary were born RE(E)VE(S). In their wills both Mary and her husband Christopher BIGG cite William JAKEMAN as their nephew. William was also apprenticed to Christopher. The documents laying claim to Mary's estate need to be researched further.
