William was born before 5 JAN 1794 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Thomas Adams but his mother is unknown.[Note 2]

He died on 10 SEP 1880 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire.[Notes 3, 4]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rebecca Gibbard, whom he married on 23 JUL 1835 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.

His second wife was Fanny King, whom he married on 3 AUG 1849 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.
