His wife was Charlotte Berry, whom he married on 18 OCT 1838 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.

On Monday, August 18, at the Crown Inn, Tingewick, Bucks, subject to such conditions as will be then read, -- A neat and respectable DWELLING HOUSE, brick-built and tiled; containing sitting room and parlour, kitchen and scullery, &c., and three good bed rooms, convenient out offices, flower and kitchen gardens, cheerfully situate near the junction of the Buckingham, Bicester, and Banbury turnpike roads, at Finmere End, in the parish of Tingewick, Bucks, and for many years past the residence of the late Mrs. Jenkins.

Also two brick-built and tiled TENEMENTS, with Gardens, &c., adjoining the above, and extending to the Back-street, now in the occupation of Corbet Coleman, jun., and Paul Norris, and a detached Close of rich old Pasture Land, situate adjoining the turnpike road, and admirably adapted as a site for building, well watered and fenced, with a thriving plant of hedgerow timber, now in the occupation of Corbet Coleman, jun.
