Notes

Note 1

George Alcock was born in Westbury in 1846

Note 2

with wife but no children

Note 3

In 1901 George and Amelia were at the Reindeer in Tingewick. By this time Edith had died but where were Frederick William aged 15, Arthur Henry aged 24, and George Thomas aged 22? Frederick was married from the Reindeer, George Thomas married a local girl and Arthur Henry died at the Reindeer. It seems odd they were all missing for the census.

Note 4

1881 census shows the family with 5 children in Brackley.
