George was born in JUN 1850 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of William Pollard and Elizabeth Durham Miles.^{[Note 1]}

He died on 28 FEB 1907. The place is not known.^{[Notes 2, 3]}

His wife was Sarah Ann Heeley, whom he married on 25 FEB 1873 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their four known children were Florence Ann Elizabeth (1874-1876), Edith Mary (<1876-1921), Hannah Catherine (<1878-?) and John Henry (1881-?).
