Fanny was born about 1867 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of Jesse Lucas and Elizabeth Burnell.[Note 1]
She had four marriages/partners. Her first husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Elsie Madeline (<1885->1901).
Her second husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Henrietta Baker (c1888-<1888).
Her third husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Herbert Henry (<1890-1917).
Her fourth husband was Alfred Henry Roads, whom she married on 25 DEC 1894 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their six known children were Thomas William Goddard (<1896-?), Cecil Charles (1897-1897), Alfred Charles (c1900-?), Cecil Albert (c1901-?), Jessie Primrose (c1904-?) and Dora Elizabeth (c1906-?).
