Personal and Family Information

Jonathan was born about 1836 in Mixbury, Oxfordshire, the son of William Barrett but his mother is unknown.[Note 1]

His wife was Anne Read, whom he married on 15 NOV 1858 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their ten known children were Elizabeth (<1859-?), Annie (<1861-?), George Thomas (c1863->1881), Louisa (c1867->1871), Ellen (c1869->1881), Benjamin (<1872-1873), William (<1872-<1873), Rose (c1874-?), John (c1877-?) and Arthur E. (c1879-?).
