Richard was born about 1787 in Astrop, Northamptonshire, the son of unknown parents.[Note 1]

He died before 29 JUN 1864. The place is not known.[Notes 2, 3]

His wife was Mary Henson, whom he married on 19 JAN 1807 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their six known children were Harriet (c1811-<1886), Jemima (c1813-?), Ann (<1815->1841), Richard (<1816-<1886), Eliza (c1818-<1886) and Elizabeth (<1819-?).
