Personal and Family Information

Rose was born about 1874 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of Jonathan Barrett and Anne Read.[Note 1]

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Tom Symes, whom she married in ABT NOV 1895 in Woodstock registration district, Oxfordshire. Their three known children were George J. (c1897-?), Frank (c1899-?) and Mabel (c1900-?).

Her second husband was Joseph Tweed, whom she married in ABT AUG 1908 in Ashby de la Zouche registration district, Leicestershire. Their four known children were George J. (c1897-?), Frank (c1899-?), Mabel (c1900-?) and Herbert (c1910-?).
