Eliza was born about 1852 in Chetwode, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of unknown parents.

She died about AUG 1907 in Buckingham registration district, Buckinghamshire.

Her husband was Shugborough Newitt Steeden, who she married in ABT NOV 1875 in Oxford registration district, Oxfordshire. Their only known child was Fanny Amelia (c1876-c1912).
