Ann was born about 1828 in Aldbourn, Wiltshire, the daughter of Husband of Elizabeth and Elizabeth [un].[Note 1]

Her husband was Amos Sharman, who she married in ABT AUG 1846 in Hungerford registration district, Berkshire. Their six known children were William (c1849-c1895), Elizabeth (c1850-?), Jane (c1853-?), [un] (<1855-?), George (c1855-?) and Mary (1860-1885).
