Frederick was born about NOV 1850 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Richard Butcher and Keziah Miller.[Note 1]

His wife was Mary Sant or Pritchard, whom he married in ABT NOV 1893 in Birmingham registration district, Warwickshire. Their two known children were Edith M. (c1895-?) and Leslie Miller (c1900-?).
