Elizabeth was born about 1851 in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was William Hearn, whom she married in BEF 1874. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Helen E. (1874-?), William George (c1876-?), John Frederick (c1878-?), Annie Elizabeth. (c1880-?), Joseph (c1885-?), Daniel (c1887-?), Benjamin James (c1889-?) and Roland Christopher (c1890-?).
