Charles was born about 1811 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Charles Cross and Mary Hannah Moss.[Note 1]

He died before 1881. The place is not known.[Note 2]

His wife was Mary Stokes, whom he married in ABT NOV 1873. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
