Ann was born before 10 AUG 1828 in Finmere, Oxfordshire, the daughter of Thomas Linford and Esther Young.^{[Notes 1, 2]}

She died after 1861. The place is not known.

Her husband was George Knibbs otherwise Humphries, whom she married on 13 OCT 1851 in Finmere, Oxfordshire. Their five known children were Mary [Nibbs or] (<1852-<1853), Thomas [Nibbs or] (c1853-<1854), Henry [Nibbs or] (<1853->1861), Thomas George [Nibbs or] (<1856->1861) and William [Nibbs or] (<1863-?).
