Harriet was born about 1863 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the daughter of William Holton and Ann Harvey.

She died after 1917. The place is not known.[Notes 1, 2]

Her husband was John Banks. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their eight known children were Ada (c1883-?), Annie (c1885-?), William (c1887-?), James (c1891-?), Lilian (c1893-?), Harriet (c1896-?), Ellen (c1897-?) and Alice (c1900-?).
