Her husband was John Shaw Smith, whom she married in 1811 in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire. Their four known children were John Caporn (c1813->1881), Henry (1814->1851), Edward George (1815-?) and Mary Worley (1817-1897).

Was tracking a Sarah Caporn who married John Shaw Smith
Henry Smith's mother, Sarah Caporn, was a niece of the Sarah Caporn who first married Joshua's brother Edward. Edward died early and she remarried, in Towcester. Henry's parents died early and I think their grandfather Smith brought them up. 1840 is late for the Caporns in Tingewick, but maybe Henry is connected to the other Caporns there (from memory, she/they were from NTH I think).
Sarah died in 1820
