There is obviously a big mistake here: I no longer have the source for the monumental inscriptions of Tingewick Churchyard but obviously Charles can't have died in 1813 if his daughter Mary Anne was born in 1815: and it is unlikely that Hannah, her mother, would have been 66 at her birth!!

[later note] Eric & Margaret Smith have Charles' death as 1815; and Hannah's as 1836: assuming the stone has been mis-read (or I have mis-transcribed) but the age is correct, Hannah would have been born in 1769 not 1749

40 In memory of CHARLES CROSS who died .......1813 ? aged 57 years. Also of HANNAH wife of CHARLES CROSS who died June 1 1816 aged 67 years, Also of SARAH CROSS daughter of the above who died Dec. 27, 1828 aged 14 years.
