Henry was born about 1792 in Mixbury, Oxfordshire, the son of John Dolton and Wife of John Dolton.

He died before 27 OCT 1867. The place is not known.[Note 1]

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Penelope Smith, whom he married on 8 MAR 1814 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their four known children were Sarah (<1815-?), Elizabeth (<1817-?), Mary (<1819-<1892) and Sarah (<1826-?).

His second wife was Penelope Bowden, whom he married on 23 MAR 1846 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. They had no known children.

BUCKINGHAM.

DIVISIONAL PETTY SESSIONS, JUNE 27.

Before the Reverend William Bell, and Major Dewes, and T.E. Bartlett, Esq.

DAMAGING UNDERWOOD.--Henry Dalton, of Tingewick, charged three women of the names of Neal, Side, and Linford, with this offence, whilst gathering chips in Tingwick wood. As the complainant did not wish to press the charge, the defendants received some good advice and were dismissed.
