!CHR: from Paulerspury Church Records copied at Delapre Abbey. Also on Bishops Transcripts, FHL Film # 1999904 #708. Gives year as 1857 and father as a sawyer.

!BIRTH: from his Niece Elsie Peterson. On his death certificate it gives his birth date as 27 Nov. 1858. In an Index of Declaration of Intentions to Citizenship copied at the Superior Public Library it gives his birth year as 1857. The date of issue was Nov. 4, 1882 and the clerk was Charles Lord. Found in Vol. 1, page 73.

!MARRIAGE: Cert. #364 from Somerset House in London. Now St. Catharines.

!DEATH: record #249, page 173, vol. 5 at Douglas County Court House, Superior, WI.

!Emigrated to the U.S. on ship Lake Nepigon from Liverpool to New York where he landed 10 April 1882. His brothers-in-law William Worsley and Thomas Wood were with him. Naturalization record in Vol. A, p. 32 of Circuit Court of Douglas County Wisconsin records at City Library in Superior, Douglas, Wisconsin. Naturalized 26 Feb. 1889. A. Trombley and John Bryden were witnesses.
