William was born before 19 MAR 1854 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire, the son of Abi Holton but his father is unknown.[Note 1]

He died about NOV 1885 in Fulham registration district, London.[Notes 2, 3, 4]

His wife was Sarah Holton, whom he married in ABT NOV 1878 in Fulham, London. Their two known children were Abi H. (c1880-?) and Annie Eliza (c1886-?).
